In what could prove to be one of the biggest counterterrorism seizures in U.S. history, prosecutors filed a civil complaint in federal court against the Alavi Foundation, seeking the forfeiture of more than $500 million in assets.

    I must say that I think the timing of this action seems to coincide with the murders by maj. Hasan at Fort Hood TX. Also, It would be nice if the feds could locate and seize the money and property of the drug lords too. We could use the cash to do more interdictions and help out with our deficit situation.
